VIRTUAL GAIT ANALYSIS COURSE FOR PAEDIATRIC PHYSIOTHERAPISTS


This six weeks course is a stand-alone, post-graduate level educational event aimed at paediatric physiotherapy clinicians assessing and treating ambulant children and young people with cerebral palsy. 

It provides opportunities to revise clinicians' existing knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and gross motor development. Designed to advance practice in gait assessment and instrumented gait analysis, this course will support physiotherapists in developing their knowledge and skills through selection of online resources and activities. The content will include characteristics of typical gait, variety of gait assessment methods, atypical gait patterns in paediatric neurological conditions and use of gait analysis for decision-making in clinical practice.
